Short answer: a professional brochure website in Bosnia and Herzegovina costs 500–1,800 KM, an online store from 3,000 KM upwards, and a custom web app from 5,000 KM to 35,000+ KM. The price difference isn't about who charges what — it's about what's included.
What you get for each price range
- Up to 500 KM: a simple brochure website (up to 5 subpages, contact form, mobile design). For lawyers, clinics, trades and salons this is quite enough — if it's done properly: fast, secure and with basic SEO.
- 800–1,800 KM: larger websites with more content, multiple languages, a blog, more advanced SEO set-up and custom design.
- From 3,000 KM: an online store — products, payments, shipping, invoices. You're paying for the process set-up too, not just the look.
- From 5,000 KM: custom apps (booking systems, internal records, portals).
Five questions to ask EVERY provider
- How fast does the site load on a phone? Look for a Google score of 85+. A slow page starts losing visitors within the first few seconds.
- Is SEO included or extra? A website without basic SEO is a shop window in the basement.
- Who owns the website and the domain? Always you. If the agency keeps ownership — walk away.
- What happens after launch? Without updates and backups, the site is a ticking clock. Maintenance realistically costs 29–150 KM a month.
- Can I edit the content myself? If you pay a developer for every text change, you end up paying for the site several times over.
The hidden traps of cheap offers
A 200 KM website usually means: a template used by 500 other businesses, no SEO, hosting you don't control and no support at all. A year later you pay again — this time to repair the damage too. The most expensive website is the one you pay for twice.
